An opportunity to rest in your Self and allow everything that is presenting itself in your experience. This is integral yoga – to bathe in the wholeness of Being, allowing the harmony of body, mind and energy. We will work with asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork) and yoga nidra (deep relaxation), There is an emphasis on Awareness and discovering the waves of experience (feelings, sensations, emotions etc.) within the practice. Awareness is a great power that we take for granted. Wherever awareness goes, energy flows. We have the capacity to enliven and awaken the body through directing our attention to it, thus the body becomes a finely tuned instrument for the knowing of Truth. DEEP REST - Yoga Nidra & Meditation We deeply relax and prepare the body-mind through the practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep /deep conscious relaxation), then continue with a guided sitting meditation. This combination offers you deep rest, stillness and relaxation, removing tension and bringing deep calm to the body-mind preparing you for meditation... (1/2 hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2 hours sleep!). Through meditation, we discover our True nature as Consciousness.
